Recently Trauma Code actor Choo Young Woo has been getting called out online for his creep behavior after a photo of him with a problematic photo case started trending online.

I briefly talked about Young Woo in this post from April where he was previously in a scandal for following a problematic sexual clickbait youtuber and had to release an apology. The apology was not met well because prior to that incident, in 2021 he was also in a scandal for following 30+ "adult" instagram accounts including broadcast junkies and "adult actresses" in which is also released an apology and promised to go better.
(While I would like to disclaim that not all broadcast junkies are adult content livestreamers, it seems the accounts he followed were.)

Choo Young Woo has been in numerous other scandals as well.

I'm not sure when this happened, but he previously posted a screenshot of a manga he was reading in which the majority of the manga was ecchi of minors (I believe the manga was Negima?)
(The page he showed did not show any nudity of the characters, but it seems the manga has a history of being problematic.)

He was also caught following a problematic rapper who committed sexual assault, had a DUI, and is a known misogynist.

- Has been accused of being homophobic due to never wanting to admit he started out acting in a BL drama.

- Was caught on camera staring with his mouth open at an actress who had her chest partially exposed. (I would explain more but I honestly can't find much more context about this.)

- He has also been rumored to be seen at clubs often.

Now onto his most recent scandal:

Choo Young Woo was recently at an event for Tom Ford where he showed up with a phone case that was by an instagram artist who mainly posts sexual and nudity art of high school girls.

This was also apparently a very small artists on instagram with only a few followers, so people were wondering how he even found this artists in the first place.

On his phone case it had " Akihabara High School Girls" on it with the drawing of the high school girl which is apparently a slang term/name for high school girls who preform "intimate services" in Japan.

Online western kpop/kdrama fans are calling for people to not watch/boycott his most recent drama Head Over Heels which finished airing in July.

Knetz are wondering how he keeps getting acting rolls with such problematic behavior.​
