For their 7th anniversary, along with the name change to I-dle the group also announced a “special” album.
The special album was announced today and it is an album full of “I-dle version”-‘s of all of their previous songs from 2018-2021.
The “I-dle version” is pretty much a re-recording of their previous title tracks that had Soojin in it but as OT5.
Western Kpop fans are currently angered at the album. They claim the group is using Soojin for clickbait and to re-record the songs without her after all these years is deeply insulting.
Many people are boycotting the album and demanding an apology.
People are also speculating if the coffin from their previous teaser video was not actually supposed to represent the letter G, but supposed to represent Soojin and how she’s never coming back.
